About Me

Hello, my name is Angela Sharnowski. I’m a second-year undergraduate student at Wayne State University, working toward a Pre-Law degree with a focus on Criminal Law and Legal Advocacy. Over the past three years, I’ve had the opportunity to support students with special needs, which has helped me develop strong skills in advocacy, conflict resolution, effective communication, and documentation, skills I look forward to bringing into a legal setting.

My interest in law started through my role as a Para-Professional, where I learned the importance of standing up for others, staying calm in challenging situations, and connecting with others from diverse backgrounds. These experiences showed me the significance on what support and representation can have, leading me to pursue a profession where I can contribute positively every day.

Alongside my current job in special education, I am actively seeking opportunities to gain experience within the legal field. I am eager to expand my knowledge and skills when it comes to criminal law, all while preparing myself to effectively support and represent others as I move forward in my career.
